In 2025, Owen Milewski graduated from the University of Rochester. He studied digital media with concentrations in history and film production. He also worked for the Lazarus Project where he used multispectral imaging to recover and digitize illegible manuscripts.

He joins the CNRS and Léon Robin Centre as the imaging engineer for the PALAI project directed by Victor Gysembergh : “Artificial Intelligence applied to advanced imaging of recycled manuscripts from Northern Italy in the Early Middle Ages, to study their production and use within a sustainable ecology.”
